About us

PEDAL 1817: HIGH-PERFORMANCE CYCLE TOURING

We explore Colombia one pedal at a time, mixing history, territory and routes designed to take your legs and mind further than you thought possible.

WHO ARE?

At PEDAL 1817, we combine a passion for cycling with adventure and cultural discovery. We design high-performance cycle touring experiences, where each route combines physical challenge, breathtaking landscapes, and a genuine connection with the local area.

We are the bridge between cyclists who love to experience the joy of a good workout on their bikes and places that deserve to be told: mountains, coffee plantations, villages, and roads steeped in history. Every ride is designed so you can pedal hard, but also take away a story to remember.

Our commitment is to create memorable experiences, full of authenticity, sustainability, and a passion for adventure. We believe that every pedal stroke is an opportunity to discover something new and push yourself to your limits.

Adventurers

We seek new routes, terrains, and challenges. We see cycle touring as a way to explore the world with a racing heart and burning legs.

02

We show the territory as it is: raw, beautiful, demanding. We care about the history, the culture, and the people who live in every place we film.

03

Reliable

We plan every detail: logistics, security, support. Your experience matters; the challenge is great, but you're never alone on the trail.

05

Committed

We take seriously the care of the environment, respect for local communities and the building of a responsible cycling culture.

PEDAL Manifesto 1817

Explore the world, one pedal at a time

At PEDAL 1817, we believe that every pedal stroke tells a story. We believe in the freedom of riding on open roads, the wind in your face, and the silence that only exists in the mountains.

For us, the bicycle is more than just a means of transport: it's a way to discover the world, respect nature, and connect with people who share the same passion for cycling. Our commitment is to create memorable experiences, full of authenticity, sustainability, and a love of adventure.

We are pedaling towards a tourism that not only visits places, but experiences them, respects them and honors them.

"Explore the world, one pedal at a time."

Commitment to the territory

Each route we design has a clear intention: to enjoy the region without leaving a negative footprint. We want cycle tourism to be a positive force for both the communities and the landscape.

  • Environment: We promote good practices in the use of trails, roads and natural resources.
  • Local communities: We work with local businesses and stakeholders to boost the local economy.
  • Cycling culture: We promote respect on the road, responsible use of space, and safety education.

Shall we cycle together?

If cycling is your way of exploring the world, here's a team that thinks the same way. Choose your next challenge and we'll see you at the starting line.
